The beginnings of a new bat
« on: February 06, 2014, 06:14:52 PM »

So since my last post, I have been busy working on brand designs and building new tools. I have also been working on my making process and researching different approaches. This is the start of a new bat I made today as a test with the flater face profile. This is it so far only roughly shaped at the moment.

So far so good.
Some interesting looking grain/pattern on there, would love to see this finished to a high polish.

It's a very low grade peice, it's got a a few blemishes and the markings of a branch on the surface, although it still pings of the mallet. Should hopefully be done in next few days. Only ever going to be a net bat at best due to looks

You never know, it could start pinging better than your match bat ;)

Very true. My match bat has seen better days so might swop it over. Probably will take it to local teams nets to get them to have a net with it and get some feedback
