Going to pop into Uzi tomorrow to hopefully buy one of these. I appreciate that some are older models, but am I the only one surprised by the aesthetic quality of some of these lower end bats. Can't quite work out the grading process, so will be interested to see them in the flesh.

That's the advantage of Handpicking. It isn't the be all and end all as many companies including GM do not allow it, but I would not have much confidence in getting one as good as these when ordering blind from a bigger retailer who doesn't handpick. Having gone through many boxes at the lower end, I can assure you bats of this quality are not all that plentiful, it can be tough to filter through all the average/ropey ones (to be expected at the cheaper price points) to find the handful of nice ones.
