Is Chris Rogers actually sponsored by kook?

Because if he was surely they'd send him home new gear?

Arm guard must be atleast 150years old.

His pads look battered.

And although bat is a personal thing, it still looks well used.

I know Chris has had that arm guard his entire career and is a lucky charm.

He is an old school batsman - Why get new kit if your old kit is comfy?

It is probably a brilliant advertisement for Kookaburra that their kit lasts for 10 years and does not need changing etc.

Maybe he hasn't had a chance to get down to the factory for a while... like maybe 15 years judging by that kit!

Looks a bit like a remfry arm guard, the rest of his kit is as old as last season max?

There is something different about him as a cricketer that brings back the retro charm of cricket.

No different to Shiv using old Powerbow bats and gloves, I even saw him using a nitro last year.

Yeah Jake, I've seen him using a mahogany Ignite in one day stuff.
His son, Satsuma, uses his cast offs too :)

Also noticed today that his Midas bat was quite a full profile with a few mm's if that concaving. However it didn't seem to have much of a spine - is this the normal Midas shape?

Hey Mate, Please be careful revealing such information on the forum. Its ok for us geeks to predict and speculate but make sure something like this doesn't get someone in trouble...you might want to delete your post (meant with good intentions)

Another post mentioned that Chris Rogers used the Midas gloves and pads throughout most of the last Ashes. The gloves Midas sausage finger is easier to differentiate from the rest of kookaburra's glove type.
