You must be a Hampshire fan. Briggs doesn't understand the meaning of the word "turn", can't get it off the straight! Proved against Aus that he doesn't really have enough to succeed at international level. 7 T20s, 5 wickets at 39.8, economy of 11.05. Probably not cutting the mustard...

I am a Hampshire fan but that's not the reason I'm asking really  :D. If it's because he doesn't turn it then how has Parry got in ahead of him  ???. 7 T20's across about 5 or 6 series is hardly a fair judgement in my opinion, especially when they even decide to pick him for the least spinning tracks but hey, we get him for the whole season so why am I complaining  :D.

England have never been a world class one-day side, so I don't understand all the complaining.

We have never had the talent, the consistency, the batting, the bowling, the fielding, the captaining, the tactics, the strategy, the knowledge or the know-how to be world class, so we should not expect Giles' team to be any different.

Does Luke Wright lose all cricketing ability when there's 3 lions on his shirt??
Didn't have a scooby against Narine there.

Luke wright fails AGAIN. Could have been out any of those 5 deliveries he faced.
Continues to be selected but not good enough

Narine to knock a few more ;)

Is it just me, or do all the batsmen look like they should be on the village green rather than the international stage as soon as a half decent spinner comes on??
None of them have got a clue what to do when Narine is bowling...

Selected on BBL slogging. Shuts his eyes and slogs.
Never had the bottle for the international game.

Seeing as how this is a t20 squad it seems pretty logical to pick him based on 'slogging' in the bbl rather than first class form

We had a couple of specialist batsmen in when we had the likes of Cook, Trott, KP and Bell at the top of the order and everyone complained that we didn't have enough "hitters".

Now we have some hitters and people want "specialist batsmen".

Narine is easy to face.  Get to pitch and put him in to car park, the one near cow corner.  Boom. Sorted. ;o)

Looked out of his depth in the Aussie t20's too. So not like he did well there to warrent continued selection
