I only saw one ball of Root's innings, what a bell end!

107 and no praise? It's like Gerry and mcullum allover again.

My comment was tongue in cheek mate.
I only saw one ball and he ramped it straight to the fielder, well batted Joe...  ;)

Sarcasm. Doesn't always work on the internet! Doh. Lol

Whys he always bat well after physio? 10mins they took with his thumb today, and he gets a ton, 5mins repairing his face after the aus bouncer and he gets 90*.
If injury is needed for him to bat well, he wants to dilscoop into his face every match! Lol

So we gonna win?

Well done Root, heartbreaking for Butler.

Anyone see Tres's bats at the rain interval? Took some pics off the telly and I'll post them later.

I only saw the last few mins of that segment. Interesting what they all had to say about fussy batsmen and jumping up and down on the handle to get it more flex/whip

What is the point of reviews without hotspot and snicko...for edges?

Like having DRS for LBW's with no ball trail...

It seems that England's victory has imbued them with a renewed confidence and the team has a bit of morale....except poor Ravi who looked thoroughly depressed when sat on his chair waiting to bat....at the bottom end of the order - and who can really blame him!?

I think its to stop the howlers. But they keep sending close things up there.

With buttlers there was proof it was not near the bat. But with samuelsm it passes so close you cant really over rule the umps.

Windies are dire at mo. The need gayle and roach back from injury and start picking shiv.

I've mentioned before, I'm a big fan, but I'm not massively convinced by Stokes in the ODI side. I don't think he's a no3 and I don't think his bowling is meant to be tight.

I'd love to see him concentrate on being a test no6 and wicket-taking, partnership-breaking 5th bowler.

Is the yorker still frowned upon in England's bowling at the death?
