Final products often don't match up to the photos. Photos are usually taken at an early stage to allow time for editing and for catalogues to be printed etc. So the products photographed are usually samples.
The Kookaburra Bubble stock photo used on websites and in their catalogue is of a bat with different stickers. I had and sold the bat in question, but all other Bubbles are technically being mis-sold. Not that it is a massive issue or anything, but the product does look different to the one advertised.
The imagery of GN1000 Duffle Bags is vastly different to the product, as the images were taken of what i assume was a sample, the bag has changed quite a lot since then.
This is why if you want something specific, it is always best to come into the retailer and look at it yourself. Our softs and gloves are out on display in a manner that allows you to pick them up and inspect them, try them on if you like.
If visiting a shop isn't possible, contact a retailer (like those of us on the forum) who is actually willing/able to respond with personal input on a specific product. The big boys like Owzat cricket don't have the time or feel the need to respond to enquiries like this (based on my shopping experience from before i got into the industry)
