Root out with fractured thumb!
« on: March 06, 2014, 10:01:23 PM »

Just been released on news regarding. He's returning to England for treatment, and may be out of World Cup.

They will be a few on here that aren't bothered by the news,  but it did seem he was a main part of England plans, and two hundreds out his tour already, meant he was coming into some form.

Well atleast we have the bowlers to replace, all 9 of them in the starting line up, lol. But will it be bell in? Or a way back for wright?

Bell in surely!

It's nice sometimes though, it does make you think "If Luke Wright can play for England, why can't I?"

Bell is already there as stand by isn't he? I love Ian Bell so Belly all the way for this fellow Ginger Basher.

Luke Wright couldn't lace my boots so if he plays for England again I will go down the ECB myself and slap the selectors.

Same with Bopara - How many other players in world cricket get 100 bites at the cherry... None! must do some brown nosing behind closed doors that lad.

real shame about Root. I think with a little more time he will become something very special indeed. Just needs some direction like the other younger lads getting thrown into International cricket. It nearly ruined Bells career back in 2005 but look at him now. GO TEAM SHERMINATOR

If you spent as much time practicing as you do on this forum you'd be better than Luke Wright in no time!

Shame for Root, makes his ton all the better to have battled through with this injury

Yeah meant to put that. Breaking your thumb third ball and still getting a ton, and them a wicket is some guts!

He seams to bat better when injured though.

Can't a team mate just punch him in the face before he goes in?? He'd be a run machine if they did

Got to love KP. He may be an arrogant, self centred, egotistical idiot but.... He is quite funny sometimes.

I suspect one of his 'people' tweeted that witticism for him.

Nah. KP doesn't have 'people'. He has a team of tiny KP lookalikes called KP's Team of Tiny KP's that all talk like KP, walk like KP and have Giant egos like KP.
