Hello mate , one question, where did you get your bats from I.e. were you allowed to visit them directly or got it through other ways ... Definitely interested  :)
I Got it from biggest dealer of SS, didn't went directly to factory, i think they don't entertain and redirect you to dealers.

Hi Guys,

Last week i went to India for a short trip and visited Meerut city where all top brands are made.

My past experience with SS bats very good so after visiting SG, SF, BDM and SS, i really liked two SS bats.

1- TON RESERVE EDITION

This is the top range of SS, they claim that they use same willow as being used for International cricketer. The bat which i bought is an exceptional piece of willow, specs as below.

Willow: Amazing, 17 dead straight grains
Edges: 40 mm
Weight:2lb 9.5 oz
Concaving: yes
Balance: perfect
Pick up:light

Overall very very impressed with this bat, definitely one of the best i have ever owned, highly recommended.

2- SS Limited Edition

This is also very nice bat.

Specs

Willow: G1 with nice 10 straight grains
Edges 37mm
weight: 2.9
Balance: Superb with very light pick up

This bat is amazing considering a relatively small price i paid for this.

Will post pics later today.

QUERIES AND CRITICISM BOTH WELCOME.

Sorry Guys,

Today was very hectic day, was busy in playing 20/20 semifinal match. Trying to post pics now.

Wow...both look amazing, especially the Reserve Edition. Would you mind letting us know how much you paid?

And I heard from somewhere that all SS bats have a similar profile and they sticker the bats based on the aesthetics, good looking willow gets a high price bat stickers. May be this is a thing of the past.

You are right mate, SS are all similar profile but one Reserve i saw was totally different, full profile with no concaving, 43mm edges, at 2.11.5ish it was a real beast. I regret leaving that bat but now i called them up and have reserved that one for me. Will definitely post pics of that monster when it arrives here n Dubai.

Cheers mate, I have heard of Sachdeva, might visit them when I go there next. Bat looks real value for money, even though with concaving that Reserve edition looks like a reserve edition.

Shoab, I would be very interested in knowing your top bats .

And in general, how can anyone rank the bats, is it by price or best sellers or performance (longevity)?
Mate nothing special, i currently have around 50 bats, I am no expert and to me price doesn't matter, in my collection my favorite top 10 bats are
1- CA TRD & BB LAM
2- TON RESERVE (RECENT PURCHASE)
3- SCREAMING CAT
4- SALIX POD PLAYERS
5- LAVER SIGNATURE
6- CA PUS 15000 LE
7- WARSOP VENOM PRO
8- SAF ERUS
9- GN LEGEND
10- GN POWERBOW STRAUSS LE

I am in love with Reserve, amazing ping on this one, You will not be disappointed with sachdeva sports, if you inform them in advance about your requirement then they will arrange very special bats at good price.

I'm not sure what to make of Indian bats. Some people rant and rave about how good they are and other people say they are dry and damage too easily. Would love to try out a TON someday though
You will definitely be surprised pleasantly if you try a TON RESERVE.
