I don't understand why Bell isn't playing but Luke Wright is.

Pretty much everyone has moaned about Bell being in the ODI side for half of his career and now they all want him in the T20 side.  I remember there were people on here that suggested Wright should be in the test side.  Utterly baffling on both counts

I'm not taking you as everyone, I've seen it from plenty of others.

It's the 'in' thing at the moment to criticise pretty much everything England do.

Whilst not disagreeing about the shambles.

The double negative left over about English cricket from players to fans is everywhere there is a cancer and it needs cutting out people watch England almost wanting them to be poor.

Seen this in football all to often England need a true leader somebody to pull us all in the right direction.  We need a strong manager/coach next needs to be a bit left field.

Duncan Fletcher to return??

It's been the in thing since about 1990 as far as I remember. It's nothing new.

The opinion of us sat here watching makes no difference. Well led talented cricketers make the difference.

I agree that it needs a new mentality. Giles is not the answer to anything.
I don't believe that the opinions of the public make much if any difference to the performance of individuals on the ground in cricket. Football and cricket should never be compared, the cultures of both are miles apart.

At sports psychology level football and cricket at management level is very similar like any team sports mate .

Managing people is no different in any sport.

So why have there not been any successful cross overs in sports management at top if it is no different? If it was no different you would have expected to have seen a successful football manger manage a successful cricket team and visa versa at some point over the past 50 or 60 years. It hasn't happened because the cultures of the two sports are so different. The theory may be the same, the reality is anything but.
