Albion Test Series Elite Cricket Helmet £50

I've bought two new bats and a pair of gloves making my net new spend for the season roughly £450.

If I include the stuff I got rid of,  then it's net £200.

BATS
salix £250 (gift from the wife a few years ago)
sommers £60 (off e-bay)
3x homemade bats £300 (attempted to make my own, what a disaster! but apart from looks they all perform well)

PADS
puma £79 (again gift from mrs)
SS £35
boom boom £40
£
GLOVES
puma £40? (unsure on price as again from the mrs.the same as my pads so cost is an estimate)

HELMET
GM £25

SUNGLASSES
sunwise £20 never worn shades whilst playing cricket before as I find them uncomfortable but I really struggle these days with the sun. which after seeing a eye doctor is all down to having blue eyes!

A new bag to fit it all in!!
Slazenger £77

TOTAL £926
I still need some new spikes along with all new whites as somehow over the winter period I appear to have got fat! so you could prob add another £150

NEW TOTAL £1076!!!!!

I'm a little more restrained than some on this thread, even managed to cut down from 3 pairs of pads to 1 and down to 2 pairs of gloves over the winter too.

Bat             Redback Paradox premium £145
Gloves         SS Gladiator pro £25 - picked up for me by a work colleague who had a trip out to India recently
Pads           Adidas adipure £0 - won from pro direct cricket on twitter
Thigh pad    Aero p2's £0 - won from compare sports kit
Helmet        Ayrtek premier titanium £95 - from IJC about two years ago
Bag             Slazenger v360 duffle about £40
Spikes         Asics strike rate £30

Total £335, not including whites, caps and other bits of stuff as I tend to pick that type of thing up cheaply off ebay or in sales. Only the gloves and pads are new for this year, if I'd not won the adidas pads then I'd have carried on using my dewberry thruxtons from last year that I sold on here a while ago.

I've bought and sold a fair amount of stuff on here and on ebay over the last 3 years but have been lucky enough to win quite a bit of free kit so I'd guess I've recouped quite a lot of what I've spent.
