What a joke....59 metre boundary!!!

Muirhead will go alright hopefully. They should have given Hogg another game though I think

Warner was practising right handed in the warm ups for that 59m.
Probably a knock out game this one

Have to say both openers have thrown their wickets away after a good start

Aussies struggling against spin. They still can't play it.
Narine's probably going to run through them.

Yeah not sure why you would try to cut a ball off middle stump

Got to love the way maxwell bats. Just keep swinging the bat.

Got to say. As it stands I really don't see what Andre Russell brings to this WI side. He's not a good enough bowler. Usually goes for double figures an over and only picks up the odd tail enders wickets. Career economy of 9.28.

And averages 11 with the bat with a highscore of 24*.

He was a very average player in the Worcestershire T20 side last year, for someone not to make an impact in our domestic T20 comp to be playing in the World Cup for the holders is a bit strange. Very uninspiring overseas signing.

Not sure the Aussies have enough runs on the board. However runs are runs and they still have to be chased.

Am pretty over hearing gangnam style playing over the PA, surely there is something better to play!

Is Santonkie the biggest find in the competition so far? He's come from nowhere and most batsmen are struggling to get him aware and failing to pick his slower ball.

To be fair to him he's been the best bowler at the in the CPL for a while. Just not been given the chance.
As pollard said last week everyone's struggled to hit him in the CPL apart from pollard who hit him 28 in a over.

As for russel he bowled decent Yorkers in the England series

I really do hope he proves me wrong but I give him 12-18 months before international players learn how to play him and he becomes cannon fodder. A bit like Mendis. When he first came on the scene he was unplayable and everyone thought he would be the next big thing. Now people know how to play him and he's someone teams target, even in sub-continent conditions.
