Interesting seeing those sketches.

I was thinking, looking at my Ayrtek, that the flat grill attachment plate screws onto a curved part of the helmet. Why not either curve the plate to match or block up the side bits flat? Just thought it would take out any adverse tension on the studs.

The helmet is made from carbon fibre. F1 cars are made from carbon fibre. Not quite fluff.

The people we have making them also make F1 parts using the same manufacturing processes.
