I see it as way to build up your upper arms and to just have a very good laugh in the nets I am sure it will have a lot off people wanting to have a hit with it .could be used on tour that would tech you to drop a catch or get a duck  :D

Yeah - for tour you either have to use the big biffer or the mongoose.... You get to choose!

I think you should call it the king bat - as in: 'look at that "king bat!'  :D

It would be fabulous just to walk out with that tree trunk in a game... just once to see the opposition players' faces.

Mark up your guard... do a bit of gardening and then have the 12th man run out your proper bat

Why? One bat weighing 2lb 9oz will hit the ball the same distance as any other. It just looks bigger, but has no impact on performance.

Disagree completely. You seem to be trying to disprove a few physics theories with that statement.

Next youll be telling us a wrecking ball could be replaced with a balloon and do the same damage(exagerated point)

I think what he meant was that a two bats of the same weight will hit the ball the same distance regardless of if one was a bit bigger due to being made of lower density willow. At least that is how I read it. Goes back to the low density vs higher density willow argument.

Exactly that. Lower density willow doesn't make the ball travel further when hit.

Well if so i apoligise. Lol.

But

That starts a different argument. As a low density cleft means you can move the extra wood about to help pick up and in theory produce a larger sweet spot.

Isn't there a theory that the pressing makes a bat perform, not the shape??
(Or did I dream that thread)
