Coaching Help Wanted (Central NJ - USA)
« on: March 21, 2014, 07:07:03 PM »

I've never had formal coaching in cricket moved to USA at an early age during the time when cricket was nonexistent here. I have little to no talent with bat but I love cricket and have a passion to learn things.

I am in need for a coach in Central NJ area to get my basics right..yes I'm 30 and looking to have cricket basics fixed.

If any credible coach is interested please let me know with the cost.

Sorry to post this on a forum which is primarily based in and around England but this is the best cricketing forum out there.

Save your cash and buy a new bat instead  ;)

please don't be sorry you posted, this is very much a global forum regardless of its predominantly uk domiciled userbase.

if you can't find anyone local to you, there are a number of coaches on here so feel free to post a YouTube clip for a barrage of well meaning advice!

good luck with your cricket.

Thanks for the coach recommendations.

Though coaching session with Ashok Patel is a bit expensive @ 80.00 USD an hour, I will try to get a couple of sessions and would also post a clip here.

Thanks,
Tejas

I would strongly suggest that you look through the coaches database thread, and pick 1 coach to send your clips to. That way, you will be able to work on specific things slowly and individually as opposed to getting a barrage of posts all telling you to work on different things!

There is also Earl Daley. And another guy, Lalta, who coaches in Morristown, NJ.

So I did reach out to the location where they coach in Morristown and they're just as expensive and over an hour away.

I will try to get some video clips when I go for the next indoor session.

Thanks again for the help.
