Shrey Masterclass Cricket Helmet Review
« on: March 31, 2014, 04:49:30 PM »

Before people start bickering and saying this that and the other this is me opinions and mine alone i respect the other helmet makers/designers out there this is my preference.

Well i went for the lighter Sky Blue Masterclass Titanium helmet as my Masuri Test is team branded and i do not like using another team helmet.

Well the usual quality from the vendor rest assurance and i like the vision the new grill gives(I had always used a pre 2013 titanium before)

Really happy with my product the back pad has been improved and the nobble on the head has been removed a feature aesthetically i like.

Great bloke to deal with is Raghav to deal with no doubt about that the helmet took 3 days to get to me.

Got to say all round impressed.

I have used this style of helmet since it reincarnation from the Polasteren inner parts and Atherton grill to it new incarnation I love the style and yes i have been hit and smashed a few worst case hit at 82mph on a bowling machine which broke the helmet but protected me.

Dave

PS  IF IT GOOD ENOUGH FOR WORLD CLASS PLAYERS AT THE TOP IT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME

it would be really interesting to see this up against a Masuri - is the peak shorter for instance?

Just as a work of warning if this thread details or becomes like the previous Shrey thread, the admin team are encouraged to be heavy handed with the remove post button.

Nice lid though Dave - well done for being the first to get one of these!

Can't wear a masuri/shrey as my head is to big. Will they ever do one in a man's size?

Pretty sure that stitching on the shrey won't meet the safety standard ;-)

I really like the masuri/shrey design but like others I have a meatball head and the masuri I had just didn't fit.

Oh, so they aren't exactly the same then?

Different finishing and fractionally different shape, or is the picture deceiving?
