AOC Winner 2014
« on: April 01, 2014, 11:16:11 AM »

We were delighted to pick up our 3rd AOC win for the RawTek helmet this year in this months issue. Since entering the helmet into the Gear Test it has scopped top marks on no less than 3 ocassion in 2011, 2013 and 2014 (no awards were actually given in 2013 but obviously we'd lay claim to it ;) )

Also great to see the final cut of the footage that was captured at Trent Bridge with Stuart Broad finally be released.....

Great stuff Tom. Perhaps next year you might have the ultimate competition in Shrey.

Congrats.

I haven't even used my rawtek yet, I've merely put it's grill on my blue carbo I got in your sale. And I find that fantastic, it's a step up from my masuri test.

So am looking forward to the season when I start using the rawtek. Expecting awesome things.

It was the only 'lid' at the bat test - but I think they chose this before.

Great helmet - Really light but £250 is a lot of money.

was it the only one? really? haha, how funny. Still, so few will know that that it's still a good piece of marketing available. Well done Tom, hard work paying off.

I think most of us already knew which were confident enough to take part, and which would not take part!

Always nice to have safety or best gear awards fella - good work!

How do they 'test' them out in AOC Tom? Is it just looks, feel etc or do they actually fire balls at their head??

Same as pads/gloves i suspect...looks, comfort and fit would be the 3 main factors i would imagine. Cant see any of the testers volunteering to stand in front of a bowling machine wearing a helmet ;)
