Apart from the obvious drills what keeping practice do you guys do with the bowling machine ?

Put a batsman in to leave it and work on catching down the leg side standing up. Focusing on a level head and fast feet

If you don't have someone (or somene willing!) to stand there and play the role of the batsman leaving or missing it (I find most of them want to hit the ball, odd that...) then use your kitbag if it is a stand up one

Yeah what everyone else has basically said. If you can get a player or coach to 'shadow bat' without hitting the ball it's the best most realistic way to practice.

Cheers guys, one I want to try this year is with the bowling machine and catching cradle, just feeding the ball onto the cradle via the bowling machine and just have myself in the stance I would be standing back to a quick bowler and take some catches, just getting myself into some rhythm standing back.

I have seen a video of bairstow doing that drill while out in aus, it looks like a really good drill, in my opinion one of the best to get a realistic match situation
