ANOTHER VERY VERY SPECIAL TON RESERVE BAT
« on: April 04, 2014, 09:26:48 PM »

Hi Guys,

My recent Meerut visit, i bought a SS LE and TON RESERVE both these bats were reviewed with pics on the forum probably a month back. Both of these turned out to be very good bats.

This Reserve i saw when i was in Meerut but didn't purchased. I regretted leaving out this one when i was back to Dubai. I called up that SS dealer and requested to reserve this one for me and the next day i sent my bro to the dealer to pick this one for me.

Today only i received it and believe me this one is extra ordinary special bat.

I am no good in writing long reviews like Chad so will finish it quickly.

Specs

Willow: Grade 1
Grains: 12 straight
Weight : 2lb&11.25oz
Concaving: Nil
Balance: Good
Pick up: Picks like 2.10
Edges: 45-46 mm
Ping: Unbelievable (probably the best i have seen on any bat)

The bat is amazing considering the amount of meat with no concaving and it really pings unbelievably well.

Overall I am loving it and very impressed with this one.

Take a look of few pics taken from poor camera of my smartphone. My bro has knocked it in and have couple of nets session with it so finishing is gone as you can notice in pics.
Sorry for poor quality pics, i need to buy a good quality camera.
Any criticism, appreciation, queries all welcome.

That bat is huge! Looks a belter.
Can't go wrong with some of the top end SS bats these days especially regarding price (if it's sourced from India)

Absolute beauty. How did they manage to have no concaving and have 45mm edges for that weight. Truly amazing. The sweet spot looks to be just a bit higher than other SS bats I have seen.
Shoab bhai do you want to trade this for a GM Halo Original....!!?? ;)

Great looking bat, really has the looks to be a pro bat. Though its slightlyheavier than usual pro bats but for given weight that bat is huge, on top of that no concaving. I am loving it, making me eager to visit Meerut (though it may not happen in near future)

Their is some very special bats coming out off India I like the profile same as the ss r7 and all the bats seem to have 40 mm plus edges I got a few ss bats and they all really surprise me with the quality I believe ss and sf are the best bats to come from India would not mind to test a sg as well

Agree with you simon, have seen some really good SS and SF bats on the forum and a very good value for money  ..i had an sg t20 which was a gun ..SS should re design their stickers ..the more less is the more attractive IMO :)
