Looking for a Club - South London
« on: April 11, 2014, 04:15:52 PM »

Hi all

I'm going to be moving to Croydon in June for a placement year, and was hoping someone could be able to help me find a club, as I don't want to be limited to half a season.

I'm not really familiar with the area at all, all I know is I'll be working in Croydon and probably living in Whyteleafe/Warlington.

I am just looking for a few games of cricket at the weekend/midweek, handy to where I'll be living, as I'll be relient on public transport.

Thanks

PS I'm a batsman/keeper if that's relevant!

Yes I came across them on a quick google search, but their twitter account suggests that they've closed down.

Loads of clubs around there. Google the Surrey Championship. I'll bet there's about 6 clubs all playing off the same road. I seem to have to bloody go there and play them each year!

I may have been wrong, but a quick glance on their twitter/facebook made it appear as if they had dropped out of League cricket

Thanks mate. Complete newcomer to the area, so absolutely clueless

Yeah it is lovely but there isn't a train track...... You thinking of the right ground?

Who do you play for?
