Boom! First game of cricket in almost 2 years tonight. Scored a horrible 9 (out of a total of 58 all out) and then 0-6 off my one over.

First time for a long time that I batted without a lid since I sold my Ayrtek. I had to borrow a bat too since the only one I own is a 1980's scoop... (If anyone wants to sponsor me a bat, let me know ! )

Made a hard decision. Due to prolonged illness and the inabilty to stand for longer than an hour. I have retired from saturday cricket.

Midweek only for me this season. If my body can cope with that off course.

No Worcester Senior cricket for me today its pouring down....

We had our first sunday game at the weekend. We had a bit of a weak team due to injuries but fielded first and kept them to 127.

I opened the batting, and it started raining wickets all around me! I stayed in for about 20 overa, making 59. No one else in the team scored double figures, and although we were edging towards the required total it started raining with a few overs to go so had to call it a draw.

Overall pretty happy. First bat of the season felt quite good. Just hoping for more of the same when league starts on saturdays.
