Just when the 2014 season couldn't get any less enjoyable- just received an email BOMBSHELL!!!

The side we are playing on Saturday do not provide any TEAS!! due to lack of preparation facilities. We have been told to bring our own pack lunch.

Could things get any worse!!

Yes they could get worse, they could neglect to mention there's no teas and you get to a pile of poo ground with no facilities, only to find there won't be a drinks break or any food at the interval!

It's deffo a pile of poo ground, but I suppose at least we've been forewarned.

Awful lms game this evening.  We bowled badly conceding 20 runs over par.  Then we batted like planks.  4 wickets down inside 6 overs and these are supposed to be the batsmen... Lost by about 120 runs.

how can they not provide teas. ive been to grounds with just a shed and they have still provided teas.

Absolute load of Pony!

We never had tea making facilities at a lot of the grounds we playedf at (bottom division London cricket...hyperdermic needle on a good length territory) but we always managed to provide a tea! One player prepares it the night before and it's brought along and stored in cool boxes with ice packs!!!

Crap crap crap.

Due to my aggressive manor. Midweek has been my favourite games.
A 51 40 and 37 got back to top run scorer and feeling good for this year finally.

But no. Last week a 1st ball caught and bowled. And this week a half tracker that pee rolled on to the stumps first ball!!.


Good job I got 50 Sunday or a may have retired......again.

Tis a pile of bull-we're not exactly overloaded with cratering facilities in our shed.

We simply brew up on a calor gas stove and each player takes it in turns to do teas( brought to our but fully prepared)

Simples( and edible)

Well, wasted day today watching a poor navy side thrash a civil service side that included none of the champions players and way too many over 40's. Wasn't happy at all.

About 130 ish all out in reply and apparently have not done well in recent years... cHANGE the old guard and get a load of new blood in. It's not bloody rocket science.

scored a quick 30 retired tonight had an absolutely shocking season with the bat. then engaged in some friendly banter with players from both sides. i came on to bowl last change and luckily got 2 wickets for a couple of runs so nobody sledged me. a really enjoyable night though.

just gutted i have to work the next 3 days and miss all the games
