I haven't added the softs to our web site as I haven't had any time due to being very busy at the shop . We have sold around 50% of our softs stock. Also I will be adding bats with new stickers

It's nothing personal. Just an opinion based on the pictures.

It's easy to get a set of softs which are great. The worst ones I've had where Newbery SPS, so even the better brands get it wrong.
These just look like anything else.
How can you make a opinion based on photos. If I post a bat with 12 straight grains, would your opinion change?

Regardless of what anyone else thinks this looks a beauty to me!
Heartwood, many grains, huge edges, light weight and classy stickers.
What's not to like!

I have asked all players who will be using our bats and softs to provide feedback so we can improve next version of our bats/softs

Is this the bat that you first clapped eyes on when we went to Asad's last year? If so that is a cracking bat everything about it is cracking. Well done for holding out that long for it mate. Also those softs look like they compliment the bat very well mate.

As for some comments mate don't worry about it, unless its a said brand or maybe one other you won't get great comments mate and some just love to say things to gain a response I think. As for the heartwood its all a preference I would not pick a bat with that much personally but having tapped that thing up I would have made an exception. It will require good care mate to get the most life out of it.

He did handpick a good selection I'll give Asad that. Didn't think he was going to sell that Misba bat though so you did well mate.

Chris
You are correct that I wasn't going to sell that bat but to certain reasons I had to handover the bat to Simon

Simon and I kept brainwashing Asad until he eventually crumbled!  ;)

Seriously the bat is an absolute blinder and its not even knocked in yet!
I have tapped up fully knocked in bats that are not as responsive! So heaven knows how good this will be once its fully knocked and played in!
And I agree about the Salix bats! The ones in the shop were beautiful!
And that hits hard was surprisingly good!
Asad is a patient guy! Simon was a madman!! Tapping up anything that moved!
I can also vouch for a rather stunning Newbery mjolnir sps (pre 2014 profile) with stunning grains and responsiveness to match!

Sorry Simon, I don't like the look of that bat, I REALLY like the look of it. That's something coming from me, since I'm not normally a fan of a bat with that many grains, and that much heartwood, but it just looks stunning, the size for the weight and the profile. You've really gotten yourself a cracker there, I'm a little envious! :)

How can you make a opinion based on photos. If I post a bat with 12 straight grains, would your opinion change?

The majority of people here form an opinion based on photos and personal experience of, let's be honest, generic white labelled products.

It's nothing negative, just a thought that the soft goods look unremarkable.
I am sure in the flesh they feel good, but off the page, and that is where most sales are made, they look just 'Ok'.

Surely you can accept a neutral review?

A 12 grain bat. Would that look better? Probably, but looks are irrelevant to myself. My thoughts on the bat are that it looks 'Ok'. I'm sure it works well, again just a neutral comment.

It seems that unless you blow hot air up people's (whatever) you get a troll or two.

Nothing negative Asad, I'm sure if I where to visit the shop I'd find something good to come home home with.
