So after seeing the stunners that George posted here a few weeks ago I was in love, I bugged George for a few days and we came up with some additions to my Strettons.

The service was amazing as always from George and I honestly get the felling he loves what he does which makes design with him such a pleasure. So I sent George some pics of my Strettons and sent them to George, he didn't even ask for measurements and just said I remember your set ( maybe I'm the only hobbit he has made for ) lol.

5 days later and they have arrived, fit perfectly and look like they are part of the pads, just simply attached my some very thin Velcro patches to attach to the fabric of the guards.

Anyway enough of my chat, here are my Strettons for this season.

These went down a treat with the lads at my club today, you can also see them through the whites just about, had one of the oppo ask what I was wearing and had my pants down for there opening bowler literally lol.

I slipped, body went one direction and foot the other. Fractured my fibula about 3inch up from my ankle so out for around 6 weeks, possibly need an operation but know more when I see the specialist this week. Good start to the season.

Ouch - that's a big hurty!! Can you see if you can get a Stretton cast?

Still, look on the bright side - think how many bats you could churn out over the next 6 weeks for us unsuspecting suckers on here!

Just don't take on too many of Simmy's meaty eating challenges whilst you are immobile.
