I was after top range CA or SS. I been offered CA 15000 players edition and SS gladiator for same price. Weight of both bats are around 2.8. Both look nice. Don't know which one to go for. What you guys think.

A nice dilemma to have. I would probably on profile go for the SS

Both look like really nice bats. To be honest, if you can't make a decision based on the looks of the willow and the profile, I would make a decision based on your height. If you're under 5'8, I would go for the CA, as it is marginally shorter overall. If you're 5'8+, go for the SS.

If I was choosing, I would go for the SS, simply because I'm more of an SS fan. The willow on the CA does look ever so slightly nicer for me, but the profile of the SS is closer to my preference. Regardless of what people say here, make sure you go for your own preference and gut feeling. If you still can't pick, pick the one with the nicer stickers. ;)

The SS is an overall better bat- better handle and more moisture/ better pressed.

If you got a lot of $$$$ get the CA. 9 times out of 10 it will perform right away but most likely be gone in over a season's usage or so - either minor looking cracks progressing to a big split (out of the blue) or else start becoming dead upto a point where you won't want to use it anymore.

Although the latest SS bats feel a bit softer pressed and a bit bigger too. Not sure if they are starting down the CA path as well.

SS to me.Also the sweet spot on the SS is a touch lower than CA, which is what I prefer.

Get the SS. CA bats are too risky.

I would absolutely love a CA 15000 Players. Doesn't mean that you should.........
Do you really need us to tell you which one to buy?

As most on here SS for me as well. CA looks a bit more drier, length of the CA bat looks less & there's a blemish on the face as well. Profile of SS looks good with a higher spine & it looks much similar to a lot professional (mostly Indian) player's bat.
