As the title, what grading would you give this?

It has 11 grains, no heartwood

grade 3 - nice grains but a lot of blemishes and what looks like a knot which are all just above the sweetspot. You shouldnt really be hitting the ball there but grading is done on looks.

If there was just that dark knot or just the other blemishes but fewer of them - grade 2

i'd pay £125 - £150 (depends who made it) for that bat and nothing more.

I'd be satisfied paying grade 2 money.

Definitely a grade 2 bat, or could be a performance grade

I did wonder when 'Performance' grading would appear as an option.

I'd be the same, would be happy paying Grade 2 money (obviously that could be anything from £100 - over £200 depending where from).

I'd say Grade 3 but it could be argued at Grade 2

Go on... who sold it as Grade 1... haha

It has grade 2 grains and the blemish would make it grade 3

I wouldn't call them "too wavy"

Take the blemishes out and I'd have it down as a Grade 1 personally - obviously it would depend on the state of the grains without the blemishes but they look pretty good from here

The grains I would say are easily grade 1 standard. It's what the blemish makes it. Here's a closer pic of the blemish
