I am not going to say alot about it but I will give you the bat's stats and leave you to give your own feedback.

Weight: 3lb (Hard pressed but very responsive)
Edge: 25mm
Spine: 52mm
Middle: Mid/Low

Further Info

The bat has a designed 'double middle' resulting in a wider hitting zone.
This bat is based on an 'old school' premise - small edges, more willow in the hitting zone.
The handle is double twined then with one grip.

Thats it. Any view would be great. I know the bat is not the most beautiful lower down but I think Salix would describe this as 'Performance' willow

I agree.

I think the bow is trying to marry a bit of the old, with a bit of the new, to try and combat early season English wickets (Slow, low etc).

This is a quick drawing - but this is the batmakers take on the the profile;



I think his view of a double middle is not as scientific as a B3. It is more of widening/enlarging the hitting zone by incorporating some aspects from other bats to optimise the hitting zone (Convexing but keeping a spine etc).

It is a work in progress. Just know I have been asked to gauge peoples opinions.

BTW this is not for sale. It is merely a prototype.
