Pittard's sweating
«

Used pittard palmed gloves today really noticed sweating on palms
Now today wasn't the warmest so in the warmer weather this may cause a problem
Has anyone else had this problem......
I suppose I could wear inners but I am not a fan

??
I will only use pittards leather gloves, just because I've found they don't slip?
I've had Slazenger in the past, now I have some affinitys , these have all been fine
What make are yours? I had some pumas once, and they were like a bar of soap?

Ah right, my apologies
I've used pittards that long now, I wouldn't know what non Pitts played like
Have you spoken to the glove seller?
Maybe some of the retailers on here could advise?

I think you'll probably find that it's not your hands sweating more but the fact that the pittard leather does not absorb the moisture.

Put talcum Powder inside your gloves as it absorbs moisture reduces friction and keeps your skin dry it also helps protect against skin rashes.

Could also be down to the ventilation. I purposely chose gloves with loads of air-holes for this reason.
I also find that the black pittard palms make my hands sweat more

Non off my gloves are pittard. And if possible I try to avoid as I find they Become wet and untenable far too fast.

I don't know if I'm noticing this more now, after this thread,,,but I've started to remove my gloves when possible, during a innings.
