Yes it was the one on EBay last week.  Sold it mainly  because of its  looks also the Butterfly willow picked up heavier for its weight compared to my other  2lb 8 bats. I believe a few formites  contacted myself regarding the bat.

Looks like I need another new bat.

Two of mine got broken in the nets today in the space of 5 minutes, one was brand new, the other has been with for a long time, bizarre really.

I've got one on the way, but I'm starting to think having a back up is a good idea, although I'm not sure how much to fork out.

Also, butterfly stains don't effect the performance of the bat do they?

Any ideas?

Butterfly stains are harder therefore take longer to open up, the ball will eventually rebound of the stain provided the blade has been correctly pressed.

Thanks, are they worth investing in?

Also, what do you think of the bats I just posted?

For the money, butterfly bats are hard to beat,,,
The B3 bats look very nice, and Aldred butterfly bats are a bargain.

I've bounced a ball on quite a few Aldred ones, including the ones Paul sells as G1, and they are all very responsive/nicely pressed.
I'm not a big fan of the look of the butterfly bats, but in regard to value for money, ,they are bargains

Hence why many more bat makers are starting to offer them
