I strongly believe any new bat requires knocking in, atleast the edges and the toe

GM bats come 'ready to play now' - the knocking in has been done for you by GM in the factory. Their bats do not require any further knocking in, you may still wish to do some if you prefer, but it isn't essential like it is with other brands.

If you purchased from a good retailer, I'm sure they would tell you this?

My Original says it's 'pre knocked in' but definitely isn't. Middle is okay but have been disappointed with the response from other parts of the blade. For the price I paid if have expected slightly better performance

Based on internet prices they're actually £17 cheaper on a GM Original LE including the respective delivery charges.

I probably would have price matched if asked.

Wanted a octane in 2.11 which you didn't have and boundary sports had.
Just out of interest do GM OLE sell well or not that well ?

It is advisable to knock in all new bats prior to use in particular as previously  stated the toe and edges.

No problem, i'm sure you've got yourself a lovely bat at a good price. Always happy to orders bats in for customers when we don't have stock. The GM pickup index makes things a little more complicated when you want a specific weight. I would say a pickup index of 3 should come in around 2'11, but it isn't exact or guaranteed.

Like any bat around £400, we don't sell loads of them, but the Six6 has been quite popular, certainly compared to say Players models from Kookaburra or Test models from GN.
