2014 Choosing a bat NEED HELP!
« on: May 13, 2014, 11:43:24 AM »

Looking for a new bat for the season, I am a top order batsmen and play both T20 and 40 over matches every week. Looking to spend up to around £250 for a bat with preferably:

Weight: 2lb8-2lb11
Middle: Mid Low
Edges: 35mm+

So far I have made a shortlist of the following bats, wondering if anybody has had one of these bats and could give an opinion on it or if there are any other bats out there that I may fall in love with:
1. MB Malik Bubber Sher- http://uzisports.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=65_77_114&product_id=439
2. MRF Virat Genius Grand Edition- http://www.cricketdirect.co.uk/Catalogue/Cricket-Bats/MRF-Cricket-Bats/MRF-Virat-Genius-Grand-Edition
3. Uzi Sports Black Mamba- http://uzisports.com/shop-by-size-junior-bats/short-handle-cricket-bats?product_id=577
4. Hammer Vapen Pro- http://www.hammercricket.com/vapen-cricket-bats/
5. CA Plus 12000- http://uzisports.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=65_77_106&product_id=129
6. Bellingham & Smith Supreme- http://www.batting46.com/bellingham-and-smith-cricket-bat-supreme

Thanks for your help :)

If you want a B&S, come to us. I have loads and have been dealing with them for many years now.

I have many other bats that may suit, please send me a pm to discuss.

Whichever you choose try to buy a handpicked one from our forum sponsors, would be worth a few extra bucks.

Hi fella, best of the lot in my honest opinion is B&S the two that i have had have been the best performing bats, that sound like the crack of a whip when you hit the ball. Hammer vapen and Uzi pro would definately be amazing bats too and would run it a close second and third. The other three would almost definately be great, but i wouldnt quite class them in the same bracket, but that it solely my preference.  But, as i said you cannot go wrong with B&S, they are exceptional.

Aren't you given money off to push b&s? Probably not impartial advice really. Visit any of the retailers or contact them and I'm sure they'll help you out.

I would look at the retailers on this forum and find the nearest one?
They will look after you fella. I have visited Uzi shop as they are the closest to me. Plus he has some of the most incredible bats in stock!  :o
But if I get the chance, I will also be trying the other reatilers as they can all offer some high class kit!
Just find the nearest!
