youth or small men

I'm thinking of buying ultralites but I'm only 5ft 4". What size should I get? youth or small men?

Youths but depends on our age mate if your fully gown or a youngster..

Youths i would say but in most brands there not much in it but check with the quality of the pad as some do change from youths quality to men's mate.

 At 5ft 4 i would recommend Youths   Pads with a youths thigh pad.

Depends how big your legs are. I'm 5'4" and find getting pads to fit a nightmare. Bought some GN's in youths last year and couldn't do the straps up so had to send them back. They seem to think if you need youths size you must have super skinny legs. I've now got some youths Newbery GT's and they ok but top strap only just does up.

I'm 5'7" and the Youth/Junior Puma Platinum 5000s fit me very well. Nice and light, look great, straps not too long or short, either, and there's no difference in the level of protection from the full size version. Both listed as Test Match quality. (The nearest I'll get to playing anything with 'Test Match' in the title.)  :-[

Thanks everyone for their comments. I have got my youth size ultralites and they have a great protection and fit. I'm going to use them in practice tomorrow.
