New stick
« on: June 01, 2014, 11:33:22 AM »

Hi guys just thought I would post a few pics and bit of info on my new stick. As you can see this is a torque but with a slightly modified profile. This is a flat faced version, with a mid profile, higher spine than a standard torque and in a lighter weight option but stills big bat especially for the weight.

Basics are 38mm edges, 54mm spine and naked weight is 2.4 finished weight is 2.8 weight with spiral grip polycarbonate face sheet and edge tape. 9 even grains and a very clean blade. This is a light bat anyway but with the profile set in the centre it really is featherlight in the pick up.

Chris, would this one be similar to Bruce's HH?

Something like that yea, basically my match bat which is a HH has scored over 2000 runs now and I have a feeling it will go soon, its playing so well that history tells me that means it will delaminated soon so wanted to line up the next ready for if that happens. Plus it was such a light cleft and performs so well off the mallet it needed a good home  :D
