Ace Ensign - anyone know about this
« on: June 01, 2014, 10:53:19 PM »

As some of you may have seen I got hold of an Ace Ensign (albeit in awful condition).

I've never heard of Ace but I'm curious about them now. Anyone got any background info as google didn't reveal a lot.

Pictures can be found in this thread:

Ace bats where made in Elland near Huddersfield by the late Alfred Charles Evans in the 80-90 he was a early pioneer of custom bats and made for many Lancashire and Yorkshire player people like a young Glen Chapple and Ian Austin.

He had a young apprentice Who now runs Jedi Bats.

I had a Ace lightweight which I have to Ryan

Now you have found that one out, I can hijack the thread and ask if someone knows anything about this bat (posted it a couple of times but no one has said anything about it)
