1. There is hardly any presence of SF in areas near delhi...so cannot comment on that....
2. SM pintu are nice bats, played once with a top end king of kings..was a gem of a bat, then played with second in line KINGS CROWN...it was ok but not what i expected... but when i compare it to brands like SS and SG, they still have to cover some distance..in terms of finishing and pressing...SS according to me is the best indian brand for cricket bats and SG for softs....
3. you didnt mention BDM, which used to be the number 1 indian brand in the 90's, lost its charm in the late 2000's, but till date their bats are among the best.....they dont market aggresively like SS or sg but their quality is second to none IMO. In late 90's players like sachin tendulkar, rahul dravid, saurav ganguly, navjot singh sidhu, ajay jadeja, sunil manjrekar, etc used their equipments.....virat kohli used it till U19 world, not sure after that....

Got a King of Kings for a friend recently and it is a very good bat. Got another US100 Plus with 8 straight grains and consider it an absolute steal at below 100 GBP. Will try and sort out some pictures.

One friend got one pintu top end LE bat, seems to be OK. I think SS bats are best Indian made bats.

Gave serious consideration to a US100. Great looking bat that pinged beautifully off the mallet.

Decent enough bats, massively overpriced in the UK. I genuinely dislike them because of their false claims regarding handles which is something the UK distributor (who is local to us) happily displays on his website despite it being total tripe.

Yeah I've seen that kind of handle before Dave, as suggested above it is common on cheaper Asian bats. It is a nightmare to get off!

(I know we discussed the following via PM Dave but i'm just posting for others who are curious)

As for the electrical circuit damper technology they claim to use, i knew it wouldn't be there as it is:

a. pointless. energy lost as vibration or energy lost as heat is still energy that isn't going through the ball.
b. banned by the MCC, for a number of years now.
c. not SM Pintu technology. It is Kookaburras Smart Bat technology which Kook abandoned when the ban kicked in.
