Hey Guys,

I'm heading over from Northern Ireland for a few days in July and after an unsuccessful Google search, I thought it would be best to ask what shops/bat-makers are in the above areas and whether they are worth a visit? As you can tell, I'm a bit clueless when it comes to knowing where companies are based!

Thanks in advance!

There's cricket world In Bolton and Romida in New Hay, I'd say Romida have a better selection. And there's also Total Cricket in Ashton which has nets to use as well.  That's all I can think of right now.

I couldn't find a bat maker near Manchester that I could visit, there's Kippax in Leeds.

Barrington Sports on the outskirts of Manchester, has a testing area now I think as well.

Thankyou all - Barrington Sports was a good choice. Really good selection of stuff and the owner even gave me a bit of a tour - such a nice guy and I couldn't recommend them enough.

If you want to travel a little further and are looking for top quality bats trying eclipse sports, based in Wakefield.
Little travel up but is a fantastic guy and offer good value for his bats.

I was going there until I got offered a one in a blue moon bat, but highly recommended for bats.
