Who makes a better bat?? I really like the Krakatoa profile..

Is there a big difference in their soft goods?

Some Salix's are made in india, then finished in England.

Prefer Salix softs for quality of design and finish. Their stickers are better too.

Bats haven't really tried many Salix's but on the shelf there seems to be little between them.

wouldnt have said much difference between the two at all, personal preference.  i prefer the salix softs but with a newbery bat.  the only salix bats made in india are the new junior kashmir range.  the rest are still all made in england.

i was told they were all completely handmade in engalnd except for the new kashmir ones but i was probably told some porkies or the information was lost in translation between them and my thick skull.

Salix softs are the best. I bought a pair of Pod 1 Grade 1 Batting gloves last season and they are the best I have ever had. The Pod pads are also quality.

I like the finish on their bats but not much to choose between the profiles. Hence will go with Newbery for the bats.

I have heard a lot of people say that a Performance grade bat from Salix is as good as any G1 bat from any other bat maker.

In a  nut shell - Salix is like the Rolls Royce of bats and Newbery like a Mercedes AMG63 or a Bentley.

I prefer the shape of salixs, and they tend to have a better finish from what ive seen.
