Hi Friends,

I was looking for a bat for my nephew who just started using a full size bat. My requirement was a light bat with 2.7 or 2.8 and three brands to chose from, GM, GN or KOOK with a tight budget around 125 GBP. I sent mails to Vitas cricket and Uzi sports. Vitas were not having such light bat and Asad replied with having few kooks in that weight and price range.

Finally we decided on a Ricohet 250.

Surprisingly I received my Bat on the 3rd day of my payment which is really fast.

BAT SPECS

Weight : 2.8
Willow: probably Grade 3
Edges: Around 40mm
Pickup: picks like 2.7, very good pick up and feel

The Bat is not the prettiest as it is grade 3 but the balance and pick up is superb. Response off the mallet and ball is very impressive. It is concaved heavily but it has a generous sweet spot. Asad is a master in selecting his bats and that is the advantage of buying bats from a guy like Asad who is very knowledgeable and always hand picks his bats.

Overall happy with the bat and it is a big bat for its light weight.

SERVICE OF Uzi Sports

Asad is a real gent, i must say. He is really a great guy to deal with, he responds to mail pretty fast and is really patient in replying all stupid questions.

I am really impressed and probably buy a lot of stuff from Uzi only and highly recommend him to all my friends. Hats off to Asad for providing excellent excellent service. Was surprised to see few complimentary stuff, thanks Asad.
