Would a power drill sanding drum attachment be appropriate for sanding a cricket bat?
Also are there any decent buffing/polishing attachments for power drills?

Leo hand sand the first few or be really really carefull, you'll take off willow in areas you wouldn't imagine on a drill attached sander without practice

You can get a decent hand sander which will do the job well for decent money.
