Bought my son a Gold Sovereign towards the end of last season and a about month ago it really started to fully open up, it really is a quality piece of willow. Then a couple of weeks ago, disaster struck. He dug out a sharpish yorker and when he was out discovered a crack had appeared. Now all us batters think this is the end of the world. It looked like major surgery was the only thing that might save it. So, sent it off to Paul with fingers crossed. Received an email saying that it was nowhere near as bad as we feared and that he would get it done. Well today my son's baby returned and it is like new. A full repair and refurb done, new grips and posted for £35!!. He is going to be one very happy lad when he gets in later and see's it, will get him to post the pictures, because at my age it's well above my knowledge and capabilities. Big thanks to Paul, great work on a great bat at a very reasonable price.
