Been using the app for 95% of my posts. Just wondering who else uses it and finds it really annoying that posts can't be liked on the app. Is there a way to fix this?

I use the app for about 75% of the time. Try going to the post and tap the post and tap the share button and click copy and paste the link where you want to share it.

Also can't participate in polls in the app. I don't want to open it in web view, because it them becomes really annoying

No, you can't participate in polls, and fixing it would require us to do a complete rework of the key template the site uses. Getting likes at all required a redevelopment, so it isn't straightforward. Polls have similar issues.

So you can't do other things like show who is viewing the topic, how many people have viewed and replied to the post, etc. Any improvements to tapatalk to make it more like the web forum would be appreciated.

What do you mean "Forum Updates"?

Tapatalk is a third party app. There is no control over what we can allow it to do. If you want changes made, please raise them with the app developer. Access to the forum via Tapatalk service is something they don't charge us for, so there is little we can do.

FYI, I am currently updating the tapatalk plugin so the tapatalk version will be off line for a little while.

I don't use the tapatalk app and am getting fed up of the advert appearing every time I try and use the forum on my phone! Any chance we can get rid of this?!
