Bought on ebay from a forum member but not sure who. Whoever it was, you are a damn fool!. Ha. Absurdly good bat. Just ridiculous. So good that you can sledge the fielding side when you use it.

one man's trash is another man's treasure , why not just enjoy the bat without harsh remarks.

I bought it over a year ago just to try a BB. It doesn't look that special and I thought the bat was maybe too light. It was responsive off the mallet but in the nets it didn't feel like it had the same punch as my Joker or other favourite bats. It just didn't feel like it was murdering the ball. So I relegated it to the role of occasional net bat (only netted with it half a dozen times in 12 months) and wet weather bat.
It finally got a run in the middle a few weeks ago. Rain threatened and I didn't want to get the Carbine wet on its debut.
So many boundaries.
I still struggle to reconcile the results it gets in the middle with its performance in the nets. It doesn't feel like you are hitting the ball hard. But the ball just goes, and goes and goes.
Impressive.
And this isn't even the LE model.

The problem is that when you read a post, its easy to misunderstand the way a comment was meant!
I think he was making a point!

A similar thing happens to a Charlie French bat someone sold me a couple of years ago!
It was knocked in but hasn't opened up and wasn't played in so felt a little hard and unresponsive!
After netting with it a few times it started to respond and ended up being a rocket!
These things happen so always next to give bats a chance to get going and get yourself used to them!

Could you share what you paid for it? Looks very nice indeed, I am rather jealous.

I was making a point too. When you move on a bat that plays this well you are a damn fool! I have done it many times myself. I am a freaking idiot!! I just sold an Argon Original LE to a guy at my club for no particular reason. I knew it would be a good bat but it felt big, I didn't really like the stickers and it felt a bit hard (after facing all of a dozen or so balls). Didn't feel inspired to use it so I sold it. The guy who bought it can't bat. I mean he is very average. But since buying it he is smashing the ball. Unbelievable. I feel like a damn idiot for getting rid of it. Seller's remorse.

Would like to know how much you paid if you don't mind.  I have heard great things about bb bats from a team mate but personally never used it.

I can't remember how much I paid. I went looking for the ebay receipt but came up short. Knowing the way I shop though it's unlikely that I paid any more than $300AU incl shipping.

Have you considered that the fellow that sold you this bat has such a brilliant collection, that the bat he sold you was the crappiest, worst-performing bat he owned and therefore no great loss to him....?
Now, that's a bat collection I would like to see!  :)
