My B3 Bespoke
« on: July 07, 2014, 03:45:02 PM »

Having been surprised by the missus and taken up to Nottingham to get a bat made for me as my fathers day present safe to say i was pretty chuffed to receive this about 10 days or so ago. I was really impressed with the trott profile when i was there and decided to go for one of these. The middle on this shape was essentially most of the bat and not being very good i found that quite appealing! Its an odd shape and not one i would have gone for without seeing it and feeling how it picked up etc. Got to knock the bat in now (which i hate) but it picks up nicely and hopefully will serve me well. Went for the crown willow and really pleased with how it looks and performs.

Here are some pics

Must say a massive thank you for B3. For any kit badgers like myself its a great place to visit and chat with the guys. I think they have a very interesting product and offering and one i can see becoming really popular in the future.

That's an awesome stick. Nice grains and profile is awesome looks to have huge middle with decent pick up with little con-caving.

How much does it weigh?

I would have gone with purple stickers or pink ones with that grip.

These are my club colours so went for them. Even b3 say e most important part of the process are the stickers and grip choices :-)

What's the dimensions of the shoulder and toe at the edge? Looks huge!

Always been a fan of the 1271 ever since I picked up Dave's (ProCricket)

I haven't weighed it but was spec'd at being 2lb 11 but as it was a crown cleft it may have been able to get down to 2lb 10. I'll chuck it on the scales tomorrow and see what it weighs

Lovely looking bat, only thing bugging me is the un-synchronised colours. Other than that it's a beauty, love the toe!

It does have the forward set handle the same as Trott has so i think that may make it look a little concaved. I think there is some on the bat (not alot) but defo think this adds to the illusion

Either way im over the moon with it
