Categorically the best WK gloves on the market
« on: July 08, 2014, 01:34:24 PM »

I have finally had to change my Gray Nicolls Legend gloves from 2012, Gutted !  They are by far and away the best gloves I have ever used and the new Legends this season just don't compare.

This season i have had to change to Kookaburra 1000s and they are incredibly flexible !  However still nowhere near my former Gray Nics, and as my winter down under approaches, I am looking for some alternatives , so please what are the best gloves around !!!??

I'm sure this will change depending on personal preference, and the fact most of us will have only used 1 or 2 pairs of current gloves.

I have the M&H Suede coloured gloves and they are phenomenal! I don't know if the white ones are as good but I certainly hope so.

B3 have very good gloves too!

I'm about ready to buy my second pair of M+H Suede keeping gloves.  I'm very picky but these are very good!  :-[

I am currently using the 2012 Salix Pods which are the best I have ever used.

In the meantime, what's happened to your legends? I can put you in touch with a bloke who can refurbish wk gloves, he used to do it for a certain Jack Russell. Think he charges about £35.

I'm loving my H4L keeping gloves this season, very soft and excellent protection.

Wish there was somewhere to try the B3 and M&K gloves on. Might be on the look out soon as my GN Powerbow Players are looking a bit rough. mine are the 2013 versions but I really like them.

I second this I use the Salix gloves and they are amazing. I will say that a set of Warsop keeping gloves I own are also superb gloves as well. Personally couldn't get on with the Legend gloves

Puma keeping gloves are very good! I owned a pair of top of the range puma calibre (blue and lime green) gloves a few years ago and they were very soft and supple after a short amount of wearing in

I went to Melbourne recently for a visit to GN and Kooka, also popped in to see the guys at TNF. He is doing a glove I found incredible, very soft and comfy with very unusual decals on the back.

Puma gloves are great, I have used them for the beat parts of 5 years. They are quite a snug fit, with a sort of short sqaure cut. Only complaint would be that the palms wear very quickly, but that is no issue as they are very well priced.

I've used Puma for the last 5/6 seasons and been really flexible and comfy.
