How many bats do GN sell from sponsorships though? Before i joined this place i would always buy GN and know alot of people who do. I think they like the prestige of having an England captain on board but i reckon they'd do pretty well without Cook (and Strauss before him).

Agree the Trego thing is a bit odd but i reckon its just a bit of fun. They usually have one wacky or different bat per year and whilst this isn't as radical as the Nemesis or T20 bats theyve had before i think this is this years offering on that front

Hmmm. Interesting thoughts. I never bought GN bats because of sponsorship, but because I liked the idea of bats with bits cut out of them. For this reason the twin scoop/Dynadrive and derivatives have always been my favourites. No-one else really makes bats like that...(due to GN Patents). (Then again, I also liked the unusual shapes from HC and GM).

Maybe I'm just weird though.

Sponsorships with int players I'd assume do pay for themselves as the kids and 'average' player will see what player x is using and copy. However, the silly sponsorship of joe avg county players and amateurs is just pointless (unless hey basically agent for a brand and sell enough over time )

The problem is that if you sponsor one player then every person of note applies.

One benifit is sponsoring up and coming players who may make the bigtime.

Then they move to others who offer more money. Might as well just not give them cheap/free kit and wait and nick the ones that do make it

I imagine there are still a fair few who stick with their original sponsors, especially if they are one of the bigger companies.

Hi guys,

Following on from seeing the range in July, the images are now out and will be going onto our website for pre-orders very soon. I have just launched a forum pre-order offer on GN 2015 for September which you can find here: http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=31730.new#new

Here are some rips from the PDF in pretty average quality, will update with better imagery ASAP.

Legend. Not a great photo of the bat, but there is a lot of nice lazer engraving on the bat. The top cap on the handle is made of leather, nice touch.

Prestige, introduced for those wanting to kit themselves out in the style of the Legend but can't stretch to the top end prices.

The Dynadrive remains the same.

The core range of 4 bats keep 2 options from this seasons and introduces 2 new models.

Omega XRD

F18

The Powerbow Gen X and Oblivion E41 remain the same for 2015 aside from the Oblivion E41 gloves.

Kaboom

Lucky 7

Nemesis

Got a very lightweight, high end shoe called the Omega Pro, and a more affordable option called the Sigma. All current shoe options remain

WK Gear

Bags remain mostly the same, but there are now 2 high end duffle options

I will update ASAP with better pictures.

Neil and I saw the new range on Monday.

The Prestige range blows everything out of the water for me (incredible quality for the price across the range!) although I also liked the F18...

Stickers on the Omega are horrible though, really don't like them.  They definitely look worse in the flesh for me!

Wouldn't have hurt to have shovelled some in the prestige gloves too.....

Prestige range will be a huge success I suspect.

The core selection of bats is a little weaker than it could be in my opinion, but I imagine the strong sales of the Powerbow Gen X and Oblivion E41 will carry through into 2015.

Since the Prestige is being touted as a more affordable Legend, will the Prestige bats be made in the UK?

Given there is no guarantee that a legend is, I would expect similar for the prestige...
