The bats are extremely good, haven't seen a bad one yet, there are plenty of pictures on the forum and they all seem rather pleased!

I wasn't very impressed with mine, although admittedly it was quite experimental in terms of profile

2 answers for that question:

1) who actually does make their own bats, softs and balls? last time i chacked, each vendor in india was responsible for about 10 different brands - dukes and newbery are made by the same people so the quality cant be at fault

2)150 pounds for test match quality gloves, pads and wk gear - which other brand if offering that to you!

Very experimental and I sold to the guy that had it from me at a price that very much reflected that!!

maybe because it not test quailty?

What test players or even county/state use Dukes??

Maybe 1-2 I havent seen any, I don't think they can claim Test quailty-they hav'nt got any test players using there gear,

and it does'nt look like test gear

You do realise most players are paid to use a company's gear.

Netted in it, someone at my club used all there gear and I had to bike it to one training and he lent me his gear,

thats all I'm basing my opinons on, but the gloves wer alright, all the gear was alright.

I just made the point because Dukes seems a strange choice given the way all the debate goes on this forum about english made bats or at least what bats are "trendy". Dukes don't seem to be either.

Apple probably never used them in the middle because it negates his contract with Kookaburra anyway!

The Redback stash looks nice though, just to pull things back!

I know but I thought it was funny that you get paid to promote Kookaburra!
