Help!!!!!........
« on: July 23, 2014, 06:40:18 PM »

I think I've got a bat buying addiction.........the worrying thing is it's not for me but my 9year old. ;)

I'm seriously considering buying a 3rd bat for him....seen the most amazing Spartan MC bat, grade 1 and knocks up unreal with mallet......aaarrrrggggghhhhh.

Any feedback on spartan bats in general?

Why would a 9 year old need 3 bats? Assume all of these bats are Kashmir willow

No all finest English willow. Including a grade 1 Adidas pellara and a beast of a bat from MSR.

I think Spartan have come a long way. I have an MC1000 and MP3000. MC plays really well after only half a season (MP is still unused). Neither are exceptionally nice looking pieces of willow but perform very well.

I promised myself I wouldn't buy more bats but I can't help it! I need therapy  :(

Sack the Sparten off mate. I'm pretty sure Aldred would make a bat up in a junior size if you contacted him. You won't go wrong, they're amazing bats.

I didn't get my first EW bat until I was 13. I still have it today! If you have the money to spend, then go for it! But even some bat hoarders on here would think that is excessive for a 9 year old.

Why does a 12 year old?

Why does an adult?

There is always a question about price points and cost for equipment.

It always comes down to because the individual wants to.
