Adidas Elite pads and gloves
« on: July 26, 2014, 12:50:28 AM »

Anybody had the chance to try these or even just seen them in the flesh? Wondering what people think. They have got a couple of decent reviews. I like the look of them, finally a pair of pads/gloves from adidas that don't look garish.
Are they worth the money or would it be wiser to invest in a pair from a smaller brand, H4L, bb, B3 etc

Sorry for reviving this post - I have the Adidas Elite pads and gloves.

The gloves are top notch and the pads arent bad either. The protection of pads could be slightly better as I can still feel a slight pain when ball hits at around 130ish speed in bowling machine. The top part of the pad that goes above the knee is an absolute joke in terms of protection as it does a very poor job. Also the straps are too long (or I have thin legs) that I have to double them up so much. In terms of look, they are stunning. Overall I'd rate the pads 7 on 10.

The gloves, however, are in a different league altogether. Top notch protection and fits comfortably and snuggly. Hope this helps anyone who is wondering about the Adidas pads/gloves.
