I believe that Sondhi sports make the lower end models and DF make the limited edition bats.

This year the V5, V6 and V12 are made by a different English batmaker.

This V5 I have is a very very similar profile to the original Mjolnir I used to have
That's not the impression of the shape that I got from the pictures!

What's the reason for the change?

No idea. I assume that SD put the contract out to tender. They have made more of these types of bats this year so they may have needed greater capacity I suppose?

Could they be TK bats? Possibly?

Yep from Sportsdirect, still some available. Had a 10% discount code. £72 for an english made bat is pretty good going. Especially if they are made by who I was told they are. Its much nice than the pics from my crappy phone show as well!

Can you repost those pics. No longer available

Sorry I have removed them from photobucket. I will take a couple of more pics for you and post up. Very very well made bat for the money, as soon as i received it I could tell it was a quality English made bat with excellent pressing.
How could you tell it's English made straight away bud?
I've had a few Indian and Pakistani made bats that are just as good, if not better finished than some English Made bats that have passed through my hands.

Who made The bat and where it was made
depends on when the bat was made.

Lovely profile on that one Si! Plenty of wood where you need it, the edge, and minimal concaving.  :D

The Spartan and the Uzi next to it don't look bad either...
