Bowling Machines
« on: August 09, 2014, 08:08:33 AM »

What bowling machines do people have and what do they like about their particular model? With the arrival of The Paceman series these peices of kit which used to be the preserve of schools, well-heeled clubs and academies are now being bought by private individuals.
Has anyone used this trebuchet contraption? It looks more like a seige weapon than a bowling machine, but I like the idea it requires no electricity, and for its eccentricity, even if spin, mobility, and automatic feeding look like remote possibilities with this design.

I love a good invention, but I can't help thinking a Sidearm Pro is just as effective for 1/20th the cost.

I looked at it and thought something similar.  A solution looking for a problem.

Looks a lot of hassle to bowl a ball.
