I'm. Sort of with Gerry South Africa as it happens. Whilst I do like kumar, it is Boring on he lifeless and flat roads when teams pile up 989 runs for 3 etc. Makes the game a bit pointless and totally screws stats up. They need to make these wickets equal for batters and bowlers.. If that means 300 ao vs 249 ao then so be it.

would those runs on seaming pitches count if they were against village bowlers like Jimmy Anderson?

the fact that in sri lanka they play on dry wickets that turn doesn't make them easy to bat on.

It feels as if that the only pitch you think cricket should be played on are fast bouncy ones?  In reality there aren't many of them around...

Whats a flat track to you Gerry? He averaged over 85 in the last series in England against one of the worlds best bowlers in Anderson, a truly remarkable swing bowler who troubles all of the worlds top batsman.

If they were so flat in SL wouldn't the awesomeness of De Villiers score more than 1 hundred in the series? Oh thats right you still have to apply yourself and bat well.

Odds were at $1.01 that you were going to blame the pitches for Sangas runs. Of course when he scores runs the pitches in England are dead.

What is your point about AB? We can't use him not scoring runs on so called flat tracks because he has scored runs everywhere? What on earth are you on about? Sanga has scored runs everywhere. He is ranked higher in the world than AB. I love AB but I'm just pointing out that one of your greatest ever batsman is behind Sangakarra in the rankings. In all honesty what do you think AB would say about Sanga? If he was touring with a SL side do you think the team would say "Don't worry fellas he only scores runs on flat decks, lets focus on the other batsman". You know he would be the first name mentioned in a team meeting.

You live in your own little world, where only the players you like are any good. If you ever met Sanga you wouldn't say "Sanga you suck, you only score runs on flat decks" You would be the first to try and scramble for a pic with the great man. Stop proving to everyone on here that your out of touch with cricket and only looking to start arguments for fun. I have never met you but I'm going have a guess that you struggle to make friends in the real world and so find solice on the inter web, winding up lovers of cricket and truly gifted batsman and bowlers. Now if your maths isn't very sharp...that's only 18.9% of his 100s are outside the flat dead roads of Asia.
